3.5 t Pneumatic Press for Explosive Materials
Special-purpose 3.5 t pneumatic press in ESD execution, designed for controlled pressing of explosive materials in an MW1 production environment.
Fabrit designed and built a special-purpose pneumatic press with a maximum pressing force of 3.5 t, intended for the controlled pressing of explosive materials. The machine was manufactured in ESD execution and adapted for operation in an MW1 production environment, taking into account the safety requirements of the process.
Challenge
The process required a combination of controlled and repeatable pressing force with an increased level of operational safety due to the handling of explosive material.
An important requirement was also the ability to continuously adjust the pressing force and adapt the machine operating sequence to different stages of the technological process.

Results

The ESD execution, two-hand control and guarded working area allowed the machine to be adapted to the requirements of the process carried out in an MW1 production environment.
