For a client in the packaging and finishing industry, Fabrit designed and implemented an automatic machine for marking passe-partout elements by embossing an emblem onto cardboard inserts.
The objective of the project was to increase process efficiency and ensure consistent marking quality, independent of operator influence.
Previously, passe-partout marking was performed using a manual press.
The manual process resulted in:
low productivity,

limited production scalability.
The client required an automated solution capable of delivering repeatable embossing quality while increasing throughput and relieving the operator from manual operation.
Fabrit was responsible for:
development of the technological concept for the marking process,
mechanical design of the machine,
selection and integration of the pressing system,
automation of the working cycle,
commissioning and optimization of process parameters.
The developed machine performs a fully automatic marking cycle. The passe-partout insert is precisely positioned and then embossed using a controlled pressing force.
